　　Task 1(原题重复20161015)

　　Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: a boss or a manager should not form close friendship with their employees?

　　观点：disagree

　　理由1: A close relationship helps promote innovation in ways of in-depth discussion. 理由2: Employees can increase productivity when working in a relaxed atmosphere.

　　Task 2

　　阅读：学校的一些public activities应该对学生免费开放，可以把这些费用包含在tuition中;这样也可以increase attendance

　　听力：disagree

　　理由1: 不是所有学生都会参加所有activities，包含在tuition的话就太贵了，这样做unfair理由2: 很多活动已经有很多人参加，维持现状就好，如果再increase attendance，学生就没有地方坐了

　　Task 3

　　术语：chemical competition植物通过分泌化学成分抢夺资源，抑制周围植物的生长

　　听力：将weed和grass种一起进行对比实验：第一盆普通soil中，weed会抢夺grass资源，所以grass无法生长;第二盆的special soil可以抑制chemical的释放，所以两个植物都可以生长

　　Task 4

　　company expansion的两个缺点

　　缺点1: 老产品的顾客减少缺点2: 新产品质量难以保证

听力部分

　　1. 学生在library找写paper需要用的资料，librarian给她提供了建议2. 学生与professor讨论pre的主题，老师认为这个topic仍然有争议空间，不建议讲这个话题3. 学生与professor讨论诗歌创作中遇到的问题，老师建议她出去走走寻找inspiration4. 学生要做一个interview，这个要采访的对象是他们学校的alumnus

　　阅读分论点三：没有准确的起源：place和date cannot be traced

　　听力总论点：support

　　听力分论点一：没有不代表不是，e.g.其他物体上的图文可能suffer from weathering被抹去了erased

　　听力分论点二：这些图文signs都是有pattern的，不可能只是装饰，e.g. 有repeated signs的separate组合，有不同的意义

　　听力分论点三：并不是完全不能溯源，e.g. stone block边上发现了pottery，陶器是可以溯源的，这样也可以确定stone block的origin了

　　When you give money to the charitable organizations, would you prefer to choose how the donation will be used (for example, donate money on food, service or advertisement for organizations) or leave the decision to the organizations?

　　要点：注意这里的前提已经是交给慈善机构，让你选择两种方式中的一种，那么其实可以分析两种方式的利弊，选择你觉得相对来说利大于弊的一点。

　　观点：choose how the donation will be used

　　1. 从money的角度出发

1)如果把这个选择交给机构，很有可能慈善机构会挪用捐款，并且捐助者并不知道这些钱最终去了哪儿，这是money本身具有的诱惑temptation

2)反之如果我们自己选择钱用在哪里，就能很大程度上避免捐款挪用appropriation of donation的情况，且去向明确

　　2. 从people的角度出发

1)这么做更容易motivate oneself，因为捐助人会觉得这个决定是自己做的，更有积极性，行使了自己的决定权2)这么做可能会鼓励更多的人加入到慈善捐助中，因为他们看到周边的人这么做了，会觉得慈善很有益

　　3. 让步

对方观点：leave to organizations更好

对方前提条件：这么做很省事，自己决定还得先做调查

　　反驳：

1)并没有比想象中省事，在与慈善机构交接过程中，还是有相关手续，把权力转让

2)调查没有想象中那么难，且有很多慈善项目本身就分类明确(medical care相关如水滴筹Waterdrop Fund, clothing相关如捐衣物，支付宝和京东都有相关channel)
