主题：Death Valley中300kg sailing stones巨石为什么会移动

阅读总观点：三个原因，three reasons

阅读分论点一：wind，风吹动的，山谷有大风的记录，且在暴雨期，路面会变得muddy，适合石头移动

阅读分论点二：ice，冰面滑动，地下水晚上会结冰，石头可以在冰面滑行

阅读分论点三：human activity，人类的恶搞行为，类似麦田怪圈

听力总观点：反对，reasons不够充分

听力分论点一：not wind，风的威力没有那么大，且照片显示石头是陷在泥土中的

听力分论点二：not ice，Death Valley地处沙漠，没有那么多水，且温度高，冰很容易融化

听力分论点三：not human activity，如果是人为的会留下痕迹，但现场没有任何人马的踪迹

教授：pollution topic“Large amounts of plastics, industrial waste, and trash pollute the oceans and rivers. l want you to consider the following question: How much can individuals help solve the water pollution problem compared with large institutions such as corporations and governments? ”

这道题与20年11月的一道家考题相似，只不过当时在讨论的是world hunger，这回是水污染问题，但共同点都在于世界性的大问题究竟是个人还是团体更能解决。

2020年11月家考独立考题

World hunger is a complicated issue that has been frequently discussed but not resolved. Some people believe the problem can only be addressed by wealthy governments and large companies. Other people believe that each one of us can actually do something to solve the problem of hunger. Which opinion do you agree with? Why?

可行分论点（注意个人与团体的对比，并且涉及water pollution）：

1)wealth的对比，large corporations are much wealthier to fund the development of innovative environmentally-friendly materials and advanced water purification devices

2)action层面，大数量人群的行为方式改变意味着重大的环境变化，尤其是plastic和trash投放等方面

3）政策管控方面，个人很难改变工业的排放标准，需要政府制定相应政策来限制
