The graph shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007.

1 题目大意

该图表显示了1987年至2007年期间，某欧洲国家三个不同地区的海外游客数量。

2 思路解析

显然可见，湖区海外游客数量的趋势变化幅度最为显著：先大幅上升达到顶峰后又急剧下跌，建议最先描述这类动态趋势最为明显的折线。因为本题只有三条曲线，需要将这三条曲线的趋势变化进行细致描述。海边游客的趋势较为简单——先下降后上升。山区游客的趋势稍微复杂一些，建议合并描述——总体呈增长趋势，除了两个时间段内略有下降。

The line graph indicates how many international tourists visited three separate regions in a European nation during a 20-year period from 1987 to 2007. In total, it can be obviously seen that the numbers of visitors to these three regions all experienced an overall upward trend and significant changes took place regarding the figures of tourists to the lakes.

主体段1—— 前往湖区的海外游客数量大幅增长，达到峰值后又急剧下降

To be specific, there were around 10,000 foreign tourists who were attracted to the lakes in 1987. After that, the number grew substantially to the peak at 75,000 in 2000 before dropping sharply to approximately 50,000 in 2007.

主体段2—— 选择海边度假的海外游客数量一直稳居首位，总量经历小幅下跌后持续稳定增长

In addition, the number of foreigners who chose to spend holiday at the coast was roughly 40, 000 in 1987, making the coast the most popular destination out of the three. The next 5 years witnessed a slight decline in the number of visitors to around 36,000, which was followed by a gradual climb to 75,000 in 2007.

主体段3—— 选择山区度假的海外游客数量相对来说较少，总量虽然经历两次小幅下降，总体仍呈上升趋势

On the other hand, the mountains remained the least intriguing travel option among these three places. A moderate increase was seen in the number of tourists going to the mountainous areas from 20,000 in 1987 to 35,000 in 2007, except modest reductions from 1989 to 1995 and from 1997 to 2000 respectively.
